第六届 “Ace Cup” 英语演讲比赛圆满落幕

On the stage, the contestants had distinct themes and fluent expressions. From the warmth of friendship, the expectation of world peace to the cultural inheritance of Peking Opera and Hanfu, from protecting the earth, the AI and life to the poet Li Bai; from healthy growth, sports vitality and emotional management to chasing dreams and the joy of reading. The contestants conveyed thoughts and strength with standard pronunciation and confident posture. Cultural performances such as songs and dances were inserted in the middle to liven up the atmosphere. Judges announced phased scores simultaneously, making the contest intense and orderly.

After fierce competition, all awards were presented. Leaders and judges awarded certificates and trophies to the winning contestants. Later, Deputy Secretary Yang Lebao delivered a speech, encouraging children to preserve their cultural roots, broaden their global horizons, and hold fast to the dream of national rejuvenation. By mastering English as a tool for communicating with the world, they can share China’s stories with the globe and bring global wisdom back to China.

This contest has built a platform for students to show themselves, which not only exercises their English application ability, but also enhances cultural confidence and courage to express.
